New user in need of advice on GMPerformance harness ECU

    Hello to you all
New here with HP tuners and gen 4.
I'm about to put a LSA in my Datsun 260z and have a LSA and bought a harness and ECU from GM Performance but unfortunately i did not get the injector/coil harness.
I thinking of move the coils to a more hidden away place so i do not want to buy a harness to copy and the throw away, can someone point me in a direction were to find the pinout for the 14 and 12 pin connectors at the back of the compressor?
The other issue is that i can read the ECU(E67) but no more "Tune locked by another user", it could be the man behind the computer(me).
Maybe i haven't set this up correctly as under the tab licenses i se serial number but nothing under licenses.

    Something about me..........
I have worked as a prototype engineer for 20 years and now at a warranty department and specialist and now try to investigate why engines have broken down.
When i didnt have access to proper machinery i bougth a CNC mill and i also have a pretty modern lathe in garage among other "must have" tools
I'm from Sweden 57 years old ()and started 30 yrs ago with mounting Tbi on my AMC Jeep and after lets say 200 chips(tuner Cat and Pocket programmer) burned it worked pretty good.
Now it is time for something more modern, Datsun 260z with homemade updates to front and rear suspension roll cage seats and a proper engine of course , a car for a trackday

Thanks and have a nice evening

Harness ready, waiting for a set of exhaust manifold and build a simple exhaust then its time for a startup on the pallet

    Hello,
    Some update.
Engine is up and running on the pallet, first with the GMPP ecu and now With a"new" unlocked ecu.
I did run it with a fixed fuel pump on both ECUs but now i have fitted a FPCM and change to "variable pump" and FPCM fitted to "yes".
FPCM is married to the ECU and i can read it but no fuel.
There is one connection i'm a bit worried about,"Serial data communication enable" Pos.8 on the FPCM, where is that going?
    And what is "Drain" Pos.24?
Pin 38. Low ref. is that pump negative?
Is both CAN bus used(Wired together)?
At first i connected 38 low ref to ground and at this time i did not have the P025A code it came after i connected it to pump negative.
I have a couple of codes:
P018C fuel pressure sensor B circuit low
O023F fuel pump secondary circuit / open
P025A fuel pump module control circuit / open
P0603 internal control module keep alive memory

Edit: was up to my garage again and did some more test.
I can see fuel pressure and now i have fuel pressure at ignition on but drops when i start the engine.
Is there a way to see in HP Tuners that the module is "married" to the ECU?
I made a new read entire and both show up.
I haven't been in to the fuel module yet, need one more credit so i will look int to that tomorrow.

    Have a nice weekend
    Christian

"Serial data communication enable" in GM-Speak, at least at the ECM, is just a switched +12v IGN feed. Since they use the same name at a different module I really doubt it would be a different circuit.

    Success, up and running.
Switched from "variable" to "Fixed" and it did the trick.
Now i have to learn what it is doing as i still have the codes and requested fuel is 350kpa and actual is around 430kpa but it is a start

Codes sorted out and now have proper fuel pressure.
I had a terminal "push back" that i did not see...... and i increased "Desired Pressure".
Now i'm just a little off.
I have been looking for schematics at ACDelco TDS but what subscription should i buy?
Can you give me a hint of what to look for?

    Thanks
    /Christian

3-day subscription, and screenshot (free Windows app called 'Lightscreen') or .pdf-ize (Fierfox extension, 'Save PDF'; other browsers will surely have something equivalent) all the relevant pages so you can go back to them later.

But, it will not have anything in any manual for the GMPP/CPP stuff, it's production vehicles only.

    Super thanks,
I have switched out the GMPP for a Camaro ZL1 2012 ECU(E67) and FPCM so this will do, Thanks!

I don't think you have plans to.. but just incase.. You cannot SPS a GMPP controller. I think you can put a OEM OS on it but you'd never be able to go back.
