Any updates from HPT about adding this function?

Hitting spacebar during a log to put a marker after an incident or hiccup in the tune would be super invaluable!

And just a thought: HPT could even sell an accessory button to pair with the MPVI3 so it could be used with the laptop free data logging.

And that answers my question about what changed on the scanner program that makes me unable to review newer logs with the older version.

Yep. But it is possible to install a Beta, and then force Windows to use the old editor as default for .hpt and the Beta scanner as default for .hpl.
