    10R80 1st Gear Disable HELP

    Looking for some advice on disabling first gear. I've tried hundreds of times following the 4wd low table for disabling first gear with no luck at all. With first gear upshift OSS set to "zero" the truck will not start in 2nd gear until you roll forward, this creates quite an unpleasant feel. Any advice on what i'm doing wrong? Thank you.     I think something like that would have to be done in the back end.. there are tables we can?t see. Or it might be able to be done with XDF files.

    What?s the TCM strategy?
