So I have read a lot of posts regarding this.
I cannot get Segment Swapper to work for any Stock 2009 year file that I download. What am I doing wrong?
I have my tune file open then i open the compare file .... I can see both files but the swapper is grey......
The end goal is to have MY program modified with a manual trans profile. I have tried deleting the TCM module.... but no go.
Any help is appreciated.

If the OS's aren't the same, then the segment swapper usually never works.
And I've never had the auto to manual segment swap work that good even on the older computers. We always start with a manual file if that is what we need.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

So does that mean just copy the same parameters from a manual car file and delete the TCM file?
The only way to make the ECM work like a manual trans ECM is to reprogram it with a real manual trans operating system. HP Tuners can't do that on a Gen 4, it has to be done using the GM tools.
You might have the best luck switching to a G8 GXP manual file. They only made 2000 GXP's and the manuals were even more rare. I know I did a Manual one at one point. Maybe I can find the file.

6G2EP57W99L310255 is a manual trans G8 GXP. The file for that VIN requires ECM service number 12625455.
