If it's OBD2 you can log either analog (prolink) or serial
There were some ECMs before 2008 that were CAN-based and work with the -0334. It's just that by 2008, CAN was mandatory across everything.

Can you tell us what kind of car your 'my car' is? If you can't do that, can you look in the service manuals & wiring diagrams to see if it has modules connected by CAN wiring or by plain serial wiring?
Also, there's really no need to typ lik ur sndng a txt. You can type out the entire words, it does not cost anything extra, you are not being charged per character like in ye olde newspaper classified ads.

Just because it is before 2008 does not mean it does not have CAN. I have a 2006 model that works with the -0334. Are you not able to tell us the year/make/model of this car you have a question about? It must be CLASSIFIED: TOP SECRET.
