TDN - LTFT question

Hi, I have a customer using the TDN setup. Got it running nice sending tunes and receiving logs.
Question is how can the customer clear his LTFT - that have some big numbers form a previous tune.
I know if I was there with the scanner then no problems.

Another is if I turn off LTFT in the tune - then again how does the customer clear the LTFT memory - or can I do this in the tune?

Hello, as i know, if you have access to the tune file, you can make changes to clear the LTFT values within the tune itself. Here's how you can do it:

1. Open the tune file in the HP Tuners VCM Editor.
2. Navigate to the Fueling section of the tune.
3. Look for the LTFT tables or parameters. These will vary depending on the specific ECM and calibration strategy.
4. Set the LTFT values to zero or adjust them as desired to reset the LTFT memory.
5. Save the changes to the tune file.
6. Send the updated tune to the customer, who can then reflash their ECM with the modified tune to clear the LTFT values.
