Still slips like crazy, they did not fix the problem. I would not disable the code, it is there to save your converter clutch. If it keeps commending it like that and slips 200 RPM or more it will burn the friction material in no time.

I don't know what happen or if this log shows anything, but I went to drive truck to the transmission shop and it only made it about a mile and it lost everything. No forward or reverse gears. Had to pull in back home. You can see at the end of log it just dropped everything.

TransGo Robert might be able to help you with this. To me from the start sounded like something wrong inside the trans. I've ran into that code plenty of times and it was either a new TCC or a trans rebuild that fixed it.
I did want to chime in on the ISS. I often setup 4l70's and 80's without ISS. I've done in GEN 3-4 and across a ton of platforms. I've never had a issue.

Ok after two weeks the transmission shop just called they still cant figure out why the TCC slips at lockup. What are we missing here? They have put in 3 different torque converters updated TCC valve redone all wiring and still slipping. They are thinking maybe something is cracked in the case. I am posting the tune file hoping someone can take a look and just maybe find something I missed or put my my mind at ease that its not the tune. This is a non ISS 4l60E.
It's been a while on this one I can't remember all the details but I can always go back and look at the previous logs to see if anything changed. Please post a two logs to help narrow it down. One log driving it when the unit is cold at steady speed in 4th gear and the same steady speed in 4th gear but this time with the transmsision fluid above 170F. That will allow me to figure out if it is an hydraulic likeak they are missing somewhere or something else.

Make that three recordings. Take one once above 170F steady driving around 50 mph but this time in D3 instead of OD range.

Looking at your previous log, I see the input shaft speed sensor is not working. According to the VIN it should have one, was it deleted in the tune or something?

There is no ISS sensor in this transmission. This was a 06 Colorado 4x4 with a 5.3l engine swap. The transmission is from the Colorado it was rebuilt to fit behind the 5.3l. The ecm and tcm was changed to a e40 and t42 and the ISS was disabled in tune.
OK got it, so definitely get a recording in third gear as well, with no turbine sensor it could be something else then the converter that is slipping. But in your other recordings it sure looks like you had no lock-up at all. If that's still the case cold and hot as well as in third, the next step will be to check with a voltmeter if the computer is actually sending the command like it thinks it is doing.

It will be a few days before I can put together more logs. I don't have the truck its at the shop. I cant get there today before I have to go to work so it would be Monday before I can make logs.
I did make a change in tune to not allow the TCC to engage in 3rd gear.

I have been down this road a few times.
A popular local transmission shop would only build 13-pin 4L65 transmissions (no ISS) for LS powered Hot Rods.
These work fine when controlled by a P01 or P59 PCM, but can sometimes cause issues like you are experiencing, when controlled by a T42 TCM.
Given that you are using a 2006 E40 ECM, I would recommend programming the T42 as a 2006 GTO.
The 2006 GTO used a 4L65 without an ISS, and was paired with an E40 ECM.
Any time a similar LS conversion caused the issues that you are having - once all of the wiring was confirmed and the transmission was rechecked (or rebuilt) a T42 TCM programmed as a 2006 GTO always got things working properly (when paired with an 2006 E40 ECM).
Shrek, I would try it if I had a 2006 GTO T42 file. lol
I found two in the tune repository but the TCC is set to not allow engage.
