Please explain this better. I dont get it. I was looking at a friends values in his C6 Z06's PE table and the values didn't make sense to me. Perhaps this is why?

    Sure:
You take the Open Loop AFR table and multiply it with the IVT Gain table, etc. The final result is your Commanded AFR (or EQ ratio on the 06+ Vettes)

That's why some tables (05 vettes in particular) have 10's in them and other tables have .xx in them. Multiply 10 by .1 and you get 1.0 (Stoch).

When in OLSD what should be used to lean out WOT. My WOT afr is high 10's low 11's. I have the ve good for part throttle. When I tried to change the VE at the 100 cell, as well and the PE, but neither one really make much difference in my afr.

Log what the Commanded AFR and Wideband AFR, plot the AFR Error % on a histogram with RPM (x rows) vs MAP (y colunms) and multiply your VE Table by that correction factor. Set and leave the PE Table to command 12.8 (1.142 for a stoich value of 14.62, 1.148 for a stoich value of 14.68) until the VE Table is correct. Never modify the PE Table to adjust for overly rich/lean conditions, unless the Commanded AFR matches the Actual AFR (with 1%, or 0.5% lean and 0.5% rich from the target AFR).

Chances are you are not in the 100 kPa rows, but rather the 95kPa or worse the 90kPa rows. Use the histograms, they really help in this situation.

Howie,I've been reading this long thread and I have a couple of questions.
1:back on post 83 you said you were going to start MAF tuning, when I look at your scan on the histogram you still had a couple of cells that were as rich as -9.Is this acceptable?
2:When you copied the values from the histogram did you use the average numbers or the last numbers?

The reason I'm asking is because I've been trying to get my VE table close to 0 for about a month now.I've been using the "A" numbers from the histogram. Here's where I'm at:

    1. Its been awhile since I did that VE tuning but there always seems to be a cell that may read hi or low on any given log. Also it may only have been a single hit (you could check that)

    2. Definately its the AVERAGE

    Good luck.......
