Engine ECU serial number all zeros

Has anyone ran into the situation of where they first connected to hp tuners and was supplied a tune, then while looking through everything notice that the ecu serial number is now all zeros? This is preventing me to using any other platform I had previously. Does anyone know of a solution for this?

The ECU has a serial number that is tied to it.

I think I found it, under Edit\Calibration Details. If so, I have zeros for a serial # as well

I was able to get feedback from HP Tuners, they stated if the vehicle was previously tuned and it was not programmed by the dealer to factory spec then there could be somethings not operate correctly and pieces of files could still be in the software to cause it not to read.
