    How bad is my tune.

    Hey guys,

I recently got my 2000 frc dyno tuned by a local shop. My current mods are the following: 108k miles.
BTR stage 3 cam, LS3 Injectors, ls6 MAF (needed a new maf due to previous going bad), airbox mod, cat delete, x pipe and straight pipe axle back exhaust.

When I was getting it tuned it seemed kind of rushed and only did like 2-3 pulls on the dyno and they were saying that my injector duty cycle was at 103% and they couldn't figure out why. I do have genuine ls3 injectors and I only made 362 hp to the wheels on the dyno. It also drives like crap under 2k rpms and feels like some sort of switch of power get turned on at like 3k rpms when I'm accelerating to get on the highway or from a stop.. Car also run so rich it burns your eyes even being near it. Im going to post my tune and my data log to show yall.

    Thanks guys,
    Blake.

Typical dyno tune by someone that doesn't really care about what they are being payed for.

That injector data from a quick look is stock except for the flow rate, so that is all wrong. They didn't tune the VE tables at all, so that's bad. They just smacked it with a ton of ignition timing and commanded a leaner air fuel mixture at full throttle. Pretty garbage tune really.

There is no way you'd be maxing the injectors on this setup, you don't make that much power. They also did you a solid by completely turning off all of your o2 sensor codes so you'd never know if you had a real problem going on, that is so super duper nice of them.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I'd look to get my money back. Look how the knock sensors are desensitized to almost being useless. All the money back with an apology for wasting your time.

Yeah I feel like if I ask for my money he will just block me or laugh at me. I was confused as to why the VE table wasn't changed at all when I was comparing it to my original file. This really sucks.

    LOL Great post.

Fuel pump is probably dropping pressure. That would be the most likely reason for the IDC being so high.

GEN3s HAVE TO HAVE the VE dialed in to run right.

That car is always going to stink bad with a stage 3 cam and no cats. No way around it. It's not "rich" it's just a bunch of unburnt fuel from overlap aggravated by no cats.

As edcmat-l1 stated, WOT fuel pressure is suspect. That would be the first thing I'd look into.

Terrible. A scary amount of timing at WOT too.

Yes.. verify fuel pressure at wide open.. not just at idle.

If your tuner doesn't want you to drop a cammed car off for a couple days you should look for another tuner. How are they going to know how it will run cold if you show up with it hot and leave in a few hours?
