Thread: troubleshoot P2120's and P2125's???

    Question troubleshoot P2120's and P2125's???

    anyone ever had to troubleshoot these 2 dtc's?
    my car is throwing them like crazy, can't clear them, and the car is stuck in limp mode.

    P2120 Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 1 Circuit ECM, PCM
    P2125 Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor 2 Circuit ECM, PCM

    I've checked fuses, relays, connectors, tried a spare pedal, etc.
    can't figure it out...

    The Throttle Actuator (TAC) module that actually controls the throttle might be your culprit. The PCM is apparently having issues with it.

    problem was due to a broken wire inside one of the harnesses.....

    yeah wish I could take credit - I spent hours trying to isolate the problem - finally gave it to my favorite tech and he figured it out - the guy is brilliant!
