    P0155 after changing os

    HI,
I change the os on cad 2002 6.0.
from gas to fuel flex but i have the P0155 heater performance low on the r and l sensors.

tested, 16 ohms, 12v, good signal, all is fine but ecm say no.
i can't deactivate the mil," Master DTC List: Tampering with emissions control devices can be illegal"

road test is perfect, fuel trim match, o2 signal good... alcool blend 20%

below hpt tune, the stock and the FF, they are for P01 ecm.

    thanks for help.

Changing an OS will require you to make sure you don't have repinning needed.

If the fueling is far off.. and the o2 seems stuck high or low.. They can throw a heater performance code. It assumes since it isn't moving as expected the heater didn't work. It could simply need tuning.

I'm pretty sure that specific code is checked, cleared or flagged by the comprehensive component monitor. Easy way of telling, if it sets instantly, it is a real circuit code, tested and failed by the comp. component monitor. If it is due to stuck low or high, there are separate codes for that. If the code takes some run time to set, it's a performance code, not a real circuit code.

Comprehensive component monitor is the very first OBD2 monitor to run. If it can't pass all the circuit tests it can't move on to performance tests.

Ah.. he said 155 heater performance code but the actual code is heater circuit.. Yes I agree.. must be a fault in the wiring/bad heater

Agreed. The tell-tale is how fast it sets.

There are two different heater resistances, for different application/part number sensors... however looking up sensors for these two apps, they show the same number for both.
