Normal TCC SLIP? And constant apply en in log

I have noticed that temps have been slightly going up without any change to load i went very easy on it today. Not sure if someone can tell from this log if it looks ok i got it locked up on highway after 60mph no lockup other than that. 1600 miles on rebuild 4l80. Thanks for any help

The transmsision is doing what it is asked to do. Since you are not commanind lock-up unless you are above 60 mph, as you can see in your recording the converter is slipping a bunch (probably higher stall then stock) wso that generates a ton of heat. I would make it apply much sooner if it was me, but if that's the same programing as always and it seems to run hotter now then check the cooling system. Fan clutch. restricted radiator fins, restriction from coolant gelling up etc.

Circle d 2800 stall 10.5in converter. Wish I went triple disc. I don?t understand what the ?apply en? means in the logger I see it constantly say that cooling system bypasses radiator into a 40k cooler

Not sure what that PID is, I have never looked at that before, the only thing I concern myself with is the TCC PWM Solenoid %. It seems to switch to apply when the load is what I would normally see the TCC apply command on OE programing, but then on yours it waits for your 60 mph you set before it actually commands it to ramp up and apply.

Without the radiator it is much harder to keep a transmission cool, now without locking it up sooner it is going to be a real challenge. 95% or so of the heat in an automatic transmission is generated by the converter when it is open. You keep it open longer on purpose, you raise the stall which raise the heat generated when it is open drastically, and on top of it you remove the very efficient liquid to liquid heat exchanger.... you are asking for a lot here and still keep it cool.

So I think my tcc apply should be at 45mph I know it can?t handle wot lockup so it releases on wot. Now my cam power and is 2500 should I just change the tune to wherever it hits 2500 command lockup?

When it should be commanded to apply has little to do with road speed. It needs to lock once the torque converter stator one way clutch is overrunning, at which point the converter is no longer multiplying torque. That can be tricky to set, I would see if there is a way to simply command it to lock under a certain load in whatever gears you like. I wish I knew more about tuning to tell you what and how to change it, unfortunately my specialty is transmissions not programing, I am here to learn that side of thing and try to help when I can with transmsision issues.
