    65rfe help plz!!!

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4X4 4 door crew cab with the following mods:

    Arrington performance 448ci hemi
    6.1L intake manifold
    FIC 525cc fuel injectors
    Fore innovation fuel rails
    K&N CAI
    Long tube headers (no cats)

I had to take the truck to a transmission shop to have the transmission rebuilt. They installed a triple disk lock up converter, upgraded clutches, and valve body. Once they were done with it and I picked it up something didn?t seem right with the shifting and if I really tried to get in the middle of it, it would down shift but would throw the RPMs up around 6000 and wasn?t going anywhere. The guys at the transmission shop said that it had something to do with the way that the truck was tuned. I called Arrington performance and ask them about it and they told me that since I didn?t have the transmission rebuilt at the time of the engine swap that they didn?t touch the transmission side of the tuning and was still set with the factory parameters.
After driving the truck for 2 or 3 weeks back and forth to work the transmission failed. The transmission shop said that the torque converter was smoked and it was because of it constantly slipping and never locking up. Also they told me that it has everything to do with the way it was tuned, which doesn?t make any sense whatsoever because the transmission was never tuned.

Is there anybody out there that can help me or point me in the right direction?

Hey, I would reach out to Flyin Ryan Performance and see if you can do a consult with the mods. I bought a crate 6.4 from Arrington with their cam/upgrades but left the stock trans. I was having trouble with doing the tuning due to time and he was able to get me dialed in on the motor and trans. Yeah, my convertor is still stock and eventually will be upgraded but that is my problem as well. I am sure once you get the trans back up he can get it squared away quickly if you can do the logs right away as he sends the tunes over.

I believe all you have to do is click the icon to attach pictures and instead you select the files you want to attach.

not sure if anybody got back to you on that. but your lockup turbine thresholds are at 6,000 rpm... The shop might be right that it never achieved lockup.

You are right, I am so used to the Cummins files. Just went back and looked at the stock file from my 13 hemi and it is the same. Just a strange thing to see the thresholds so high, makes a guy wonder how it ever achieves lockup in factory form. I know I hated the trans tune in mine and wrote something for it in less than 24 hours of owning the truck, made a huge difference without touching the engine side.
