question on how these credits for unlimted work

says if i buy 6 credits for 99-07 chevy its unlimted my question what do they mean unlimted and is its gmc to or just chevy i probly sound dumb but its not very clear to me how they have it writtern thanks

For instance, for 6 credits you get a single year/model license for instance for 6 credits you could tune an unlimited amount of 2000 Chevy Silverado V8's, if you want to tune an unlimited amount of 2001 Chevy Silverado V8's it would be another 6 credits and so on.

Chevy Silverados and GMC Sierras are combined on the trucks. So if you MY license a Silverado you get the Sierras too. Or at least they were when I got all my model year licenses many years ago. If that has changed Bill can correct me. Also V8 and V6 Silverados/Sierras need different licenses. So if you MY a V8 year you don't get the V6s of that same year.

I think thats true for the older trucks, but not the newer ones
