    Decreasing knock from 1-4k rpm?

I've been tuning my car for non-ethanol 91 for a while and have it dialed in pretty good for what it is. I notice there's a lag in the 1-4k rpm range, I've managed to improve it a bit but am wondering if it would make sense to lower the amount of knock by 50% in these areas? I think this is whats really making it a dog down low.

If you have good AFR fuel and good timing, it is possibly FALSE KNOCK although if you say so it is because you saw it on the vcm scanner
