I considered registering a trailblazer to turn off evap codes. It said 2 credits and 6 credits for unlimited. Further research said the 2 credits for that VIN only, 6 credits unlimited for the whole family. Does that include the Saab, Isuzu, and GMC rebadged models too?
Also 6 credits is unlimited for the model year only (and usually pre ~2008), not all model years. So 2002 TrailBlazer I6 vs 2003 TrailBlazer I6 are both 6 credits each. Same for the I6 vs V8s, so an 2008 TrailBlazer I6 vs 2008 TrailBlazer V8 are separately licensed as well.
