2016 Mustang w/ On3 twin kit going lean- Please Help

    Hello All,
Working on a 2016 Mustang GT Gen2 5.0L with an On3 twin turbo kit. I've been tuning for a while, but haven't done many Gen2 or Gen3 cars. Could really use some help on this one as I have lots of time trying to figure it out. Car runs decent but starts to lean out quickly on the dyno at WOT. Pull starts out fine, slightly lean, but not too bad. At 5,600 rpm injector PW jumps from 9.6 to 15.7 ms up until 6,200 rpm where it suddenly drops down to 10.2 ms and this is where the car starts to lean out quickly. I know it's close to pegging the MAF, but it's not quite there yet. I don't see a change in fuel source or torque source. Something is causing the fuel to be clipped. Fuel pressure is steady through the whole pull at 60+ psi. Let me know what I'm missing please.

    Mods are as follows:
    2016 Mustang GT manual trans
On3 Twin Turbo kit around 10 psi
    1050x ID Injectors
Return Style fuel system with dual 400 LPH pumps (Base FP set to 60 PSI)
    E85 Fuel
Stock MAF located in the boost tube
    Boss Intake w/ IMRC deleted
    Stock TB
    Full exhaust, no cats
    Billet OP gears

I did a 2014 GT with an almost identical set up, but with an auto trans that made 805 rwhp on E85. Similar fuel system and same injectors and had enough fuel. I'm not even pushing this car yet at around 600rwhp so I don't think it's an issue with the fuel system maxing out. It's got to be something I'm missing in the tune. I've attached the tune and log from dyno pull. Please take a look and let me know what you thank. I greatly appreciate any help.

Mine was doing the same thing. I changed the MAF values on the top 2 cells to a lower number and it seemed to have fixed the issue i had.

I took a swipe on log only and things are either very south or your data log ping is very bad as it says you entered fuel economy at 4500 rpm

Log is missing few vital parameter to say for sure but period 90 is not the end, id say 80 is where you are pegged yet you already 86+ lb...somethings not right.

Hit me up if you need a good tune to begin with.

what is your fuel pressure looking like when it goes lean?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Hello Bill,
It stays steady at 60+. Never drops off. Not sure why the injector PW drops to 10 ms from 15 ms.

I'm no Ford expert but I've tuned more than a few. Pretty sure you need to disable cyl. anticipation to dial in the MAF. And it looks like it's right on the verge of pegging the maf.

I know it's close to pegging the MAF but it's not pegged yet. Could that be causing the fuel clip? I wouldn't think so.

Disable cylair anticipation under maf calibration.

I don't remember seeing this switch on the Gen2 tune like the older cars have. Unfortunately I don't have my tuning laptop with me to check right now.

    Here ya go.

I've done a whole bunch of earlier Mustangs from Terminators up to GT500s through 2014 or so. I've done a few Coyotes but my experience with anything past about 2016 starts to really taper off. Just want to be forth coming. But I know on most of these platforms you have to disable cyl anticipation to tune your maf.

I had a similar problem with my TT 2015. What fixed it was to make all the aircharge multiplier 1.00 for the speed density mapped points being used at WOT. This also made the commanded ratio get closer to actual ratio.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Had a chance to try a few things yesterday. I lowered my MAF HZ in the upper range as Pistol suggested and disabled Cylair anticipation as Edcmat mentioned. Car now pulls to redline and fueling is stable. Few tweeks to the MAF table and WOT fueling was +/-2%. I know this isn't the complete fix as I usually don't need to disable cylair anticipation. With the MAF in the 3" boost tube I think the anticipation logic may be affect more as well as the MAF being close to pegging.
