    6th gen zl1 Ethanol tuning

So I have a few questions in regards to ethanol tuning.
    1. How much ethanol can be added without needing to modify your tune and will it add anymore power?
    2. If question 1 doesn't add anymore power, what would be my first steps to tuning for e and what ethanol content would be a good starting point for tuning a stock zl1?

1.The user manual says do not go higher than 15% ethanol or engine damage may occur. However, I have found that E20ish is fine on the stock tune. Once the fuel trims adjust there will be no issues. That amount of E wouldn't add any power but it would help combat knock retard on a hot day, which happens even on the stock tune with 93 octane. So it would reduce the chances that you lose power due to the ECU pulling timing for KR. It would also up your octane by about a point or so. This would be beneficial to anyone that can only get 91 octane.

    2. Add Flex Fuel sensor. Purchase HPTuners. Do a lot of reading about tuning for flex fuel on these cars. The info is already available. Or hire a remote tuner. On a bone stock Zl1 you can probably run E60 easily. That will gain some power with the correct tune.

Thank you for the info. I am familiar with the tuning process and tuned my truck after a cam upgrade, I just haven't tuned on a boosted vehicle or for race gas yet.

E92 ECU's are going to be a little different than your 07 Silverado, especially with the torque model. But if you're familiar with the Gen 4 stuff, you should have a good foundation to build on and there is plenty of documentation on here in regards to your subject.
