base tune for LS swap 5.3 DBW with stage 1 4L60E

    Hi guys,

Do you have a base tune for a 2003 5.3 DBW with a Stage 1 4L60E with corvette servo
I have a base tune from a guy but my transmission is shifting bad, on full throttle, shifting very high from 1 to 2, 2 to 3, etc...
I have stock converter and 4.10 gear with 28" tires on my C1500
I have also bad idle, running very low - even dies when I shift from park to Drive

    here's my tune

please can someone guide me on that

Post some data logs. A basically stock engine should not take any amount of tuning to run decent. If you're having idle issues and shifting issues, it most likely has mechanical issues. The shift tables are close enough it should be shifting just fine at WOT. I'd bet that "stage 1" 60 ain't exactly right.

It is possible the MAF has been moved far enough to affect the way it's running. Without seeing any data logs it's all just guessing. No one is going to have a one size fits all tune file for a swap vehicle because there isn't one.

Much more than a stock vehicle. Supposed to be 400hp 5.3L in a 1990 454SS. But maybe the trans is the 400hp part.

Have you noticed that the TCC never locks in 3rd? 4th shift is commanded before those thresholds are reached. If that's wrong, other stuff is likely setup wrong...and it is. Try this.

hello to all, tks for your replies?
I thought a forum was a meeting place for people to help people
sorry that some of you are offensed that I bought a amazon harness, I live in tahiti and getting parts from usa to this part of the world cost a lot of money, anyways
tks to the guy sirius who sent me a tune, I will certainly make a record of data when I have a chance
and yes the truck is stock 5.3 with a brand new transmission stage 1 summitracing.
i?m a beginner in the tune world, so asking pros is the best way to avoid mistakes

Biggest problem is people not wanting to take the time to type in what is really going on for their project. Not totally true for you since you did it in another post that got no response, but you should have copied that info over so people really know what is going on. The direction for help can be lot different for a swap than a stock vehicle.

If you got an Amazon swap harness that works, great, but the failure rate seems to be very high and a lot of time is spent trying to help people diagnose problems that turn out to be a harness problem. And often the OP will go through several iterations of "I know the harness is good".

I see that often. THat is so when you have the shifter in 3rd it wont lock until after the 4th gear shift would have normally happen.

Look around the forums and you will see folks asking vague questions and asking for help.
And then you have the guys buying the cheapest parts available and having issues. If they would have spent 5 minutes doing some research they would have known those $50 chinese injectors off Fleebay were nothing but problems, yet here they are.
Its a daily thing tho so it gets old sometimes.

Personnaly, the only cheap thing I have on my LS swap, is the harness... other than that, all the things have been bought from reputable company such as speed engeenering, summitracing, hotrodshop.. the only issue I have is idle, and transmission shifting
    but you are correct

The more data the better. Idling and driving preferred.
