To provide a bit of context, I currently drive a 2014 Camaro. For the exhaust, I've got it equipped with an x-pipe and long tube headers, and it's catless. Now, I've successfully managed to get those quick pops and bangs that momentarily produce small 0.1 sec flames. While they're indeed a sight to see, they're not exactly what I'm aiming for.
Have any of you seen the flames that the R35s produce? That's my target. On those cars, the flames are not just quick pops but rather long-lasting, giving it a theatrical and intense effect. It's like the difference between a quick flicker and a roaring bonfire.
What I'm hoping for is guidance on how I might be able to achieve those long, constant flames on my Camaro.
Are there specific tuning parameters in HP Tuners that I should be focusing on?
Could it be a fueling adjustment, or perhaps a specific idle/spark table where this effect is more pronounced?
Given my current setup, does anyone know of any adjustments that would help produce this effect?
Safety and keeping the health of the engine in mind is a priority. So, while I'm eager to achieve this effect, I don't want to compromise the overall integrity of my vehicle.
Thanks!
