    Just a Few questions

Hello all! As I'm new to this forum (and for good reason) I'd like to ask a few questions as I'm extremely new to the tuning game. I have an Automatic 2005 Pontiac GTO, LS2. I have a TSP 224r 114 LSA .600/.600 cam ready to go in. My biggest question, and probably one of the most asked, would be, what do I need to know before tuning for a bigger cam? How would I go about tuning a bigger cam? What aspects of the tune need to be focused on? Thanks for any help/advice and I apologize in advance for asking questions that have probably been asked thousands of times!

Yes, your questions have been asked thousands of times. Use the search function on here (or google) as there are tons of threads you can read through that explain how to re-calibrate certain areas of the tune file for any mods you may have made.

Check out Goat Rope Garage on YouTube if your new. He explains the basics fairly well to get you started at least

If your looking for lessons that aren't very expensive, Evans Performance Academy has a subscription service for only $50 a month. You can cram in a ton of good knowledge in just one month and Jeff is very good at explaining every detail.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have used the search bar and google, didn't find what I was looking for because most of the information was for LS1 cars with comp 224 112 .568/.568 cams! Wanted some more information on tuning for my specific cam. Thanks again for the recommendations!!

You dont need cam tuning advice for your specific cam. You need to learn how to tune a engine that has had a cam change because the info on how to tune it is the same for all cams.

You need to search and read, the info is here. If you dont want to put the time in then there is guys on here that will remote tune it for you for a fee.

    Here is a good read
