2018 Silverado grill dampener

I have a 2018 Silverado and the grill actuator dampener assembly broke and this has caused a code which will not allow me to use the remote start and I was wondering if I could just cancel this code with HP tuners since this actuator is just so the truck warms up faster for reduced emissions any advice would be appreciated thank you

Common problem. What most do is keep the actuator plugged in and just make a stop to delete them.
