    Invalid VIN/OS... Arggggg

Well, I am off to a slowwwww start. Can't license the truck. "Invalid VIN/OS".
Shot my weekend plans down in flames.

Sent the text file to support as requested & hopefully they'll get on it quickly.
I was counting on using HPT to keep me from reading parts catalogs for a while.
    Maybe a Corsa exhaust....

PS- this is the factory PCM. I have another with Allen's tune on it (locked of course).

Hehe, they are usually pretty good with this stuff...glad to hear chris got you up and running very quickly.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I just got the same error trying to hook up to a 2007 6 Liter HD Silverado. I'll check to see if a log file was created.

actually you need to create log file or "info log" which is outlined in this demo in the help file http://www.hptuners.com/help/demos/infolog.swf

    VCM OS error

Is this the same kind of error for a "calibration mismatch: file OS does not match VCM OS"?
'00 C5: Haltech intake, BBK 80mm, LS6 intake & exhaust, long tube headers, AFR 205, Comp Cam 224/228, 42# inject, Z06 exhaust, electronic cutouts, & losts of attitude!

no, that error is reserved for people that are attempting to do a calibration write with a file that did not origonally come from the pcm they are trying to flash...it usually occurs when you do a write calibration rather than a write entire when flashing in a custom operating system. If its giving you that error otherwise your probably doing something you shouldnt be doing without actually knowing what your doing.
