Good Evening Everyone!
I had a quick question about my 2017 Stingray w/ wet sump LT1. I was at the track the other day and it seemed like every time I was exiting the same sweeping, right hand turn, I would trigger something called ?Engine Protection Mode? and the Vette would go into a temporary limp mode until I upshifted. I know it has something to do with protecting the engine from an oil starvation concern but it is way too sensitive and was being triggered way too often. HP Tuners was nice enough to send me a sample file of another Stingray and I noticed that under the Torque Management tab it gave you the option of disabling something called ?Lubrication Protection? and ?Oil Starvation?. Would disabling these turn that pesky ?Engine Protection Mode? off?
Don?t get me wrong, it?s a fantastic feature however it?s hindering the car on the road course.
Thanks Guys!
Jeff
