Hi, few months ago I wrote a tune file in to pcm and somehow lost cruise control, car came back and I wrote Ori file back to it and cruise control now works but car won't shift past 3 gear.
I scanned the car before and after and I see VVEL u1024 can bus comms fault and p0720 speed sensor fault.
Speedometer working.
it appears TCM bricked/limp now.
Any ideas how this can happen?

The TCM reads the OSS, the cluster speedometer gets it reading from the ABS system. If the two don't match you get that code P0720. Some of those had bad computers causing this so it might not be the OSS. Would need the VIN to see if the TSB applies or not. It would also help if you shared a log of the transmission data on here so that we can tell if the OSS is reading or not.
