    Perameter Selector not working HELP!

About a week ago when i go into VCM Scanner , Graphs layout, New graph then the perameter selector. Nothing comes up. It just suddenly happened. Happens connected from device or not. With every log and car. Just wont let me populate new graphs at all. Please help. I have run multiple repairs on the software. I have totally deleted software and re installed. Running the current non Beta software freshly downloaded.

You're going to have to be more specific than that. Data log, screen shot, maths, filters, etc. would help greatly.

As i said Graphs layout, New graph then the parameter selector..... Then nothing... The parameter selector box comes up and when you try to type in a parameter to input nothing populates at all.

Yeah that helps a lot. So we're supposed to guess what you're looking at? I can setup graphs just fine. How's that for help?

See how easy it is to post a screen shot of what you're looking at?

Your sarcasm isn't desired or needed... The fact that you posted that picture means you knew from my description EXACTLY what I was talking about..... And I am actually at work at the moment so don't have access to my HP Tuners computer to screen shot. Either you have some relevant or decent input that may be helpful or please keep your comments to your self. Thanks

I thought this morning when this was first posted that without more info, going to be hard to help. Maybe just put in a support ticket.

Yes, I know what you SHOULD be looking at. But without at least a screen shot there's no way to tell what's wrong. How can there be? You might not like my approach but you're the one looking for help and I'm the one trying to help. You know the saying "help me help you".

Show me/us what you're seeing. What you're looking at. Without that everything is just a guess.

Lets start with this. What do you mean specifically by "nothing comes up"?

Looking at my screen shot I posted, are you clicking on Parameter <Click to insert or change>?

That's a filter. You first need to chose a parameter. It's not a software issue it's operator error.

Yes in the channel list I have all my channels and can populate new channels if I need them. This is just when I try and bring them into a graph.

That's not the jpeg you posted. That's a filter. You first need to select the parameter. If you've done so, and are trying to setup a filter, and it does not populate the table, your filter is not setup correctly.

Not operator error,, Also i had been using the system for years the same way.. Just one day stopped working

See how you bring yours up and you have the brekdown selection boxes.... Mine is blank.. Even when connected to the car with all my channels being logged.

That doesn't make sense. But, to get your scanner to pole the current vehicle you're connected to, go to Documents/HPtuners/VCM scanner/vehicles and empty that folder. That will force the scanner to repole all of the available PIDs. That may be your fix.

And if this not a case of user error, then the software is broke and we can’t tell you how to fix it and will need a support ticket
