    10L90/80 won't shift higher than 7100

I have two cars I'm working with. We built them to rev to 7600 but shift about 7400. On the dyno and on the street, even in TUTD mode the car shifts to the next gear at 7100. I've set everything possible in the ECU and TCM but it will just auto shift at 7100. Power is still climbing when it shifts.

I've set TUTD shift MPH way beyond the range and the RPM to 7600 so that it wont shift. But it still does. What am I missing?

One car is a 2018 ZL1 and one is a 2022 Camaro SS.

there is probably an unexposed limit. i know the 6l80 has an output shaft speed limit on 6th gear which forces a down shift back to 5th.

possibly something similar for input shaft speed limit.

That was my assumption too but I figured by now someone has to have overcome this. I have a 416ci built LT1 with a huge cam that will probably peak at 7400-7500 RPM. The car was making 670rwhp when it shifted at 7100 on the dyno. I've tuned a ton of Gen V cars but lately its the first time we've ventured into building stuff that is meant to rev past 7000 RPM. Now I have 3 cars as of this morning that I can't run higher than 7100.

Have a tune file you can post? I have a V6 Camaro, 6L50 trans, so may or may not be able to help, but it shifts past 7100, so maybe I can compare, might have a table or two that you don't.

try logging the engine rpm, trans vss, input & shaft shaft from 2 cars & report back findings & the OS/cal. I might be able to find a bin file & see if anything lines up.

do it with a minimum pids as u can so it gets as much resolution as possible.
