Thoughts on tune and log 2022 camaro btr220

So got on the dyno and did some playing with the timing tables and actually gained some power by reducing the spark and afr was spot on 12.7-12.9 didnt have it plugged into the log this time was using the dynos log. I was shocked I didnt see much KR after this last revision. But i mean it is running great so just want thoughts on anything that should be changed for safety, or if you see anything that stands out that should be fixed. It does feel good made 569 rwhp and 520 rwtq with this tune and cruises really nice as well. The log is after the dyno and doing some changes while cruising and going wot here and there to get the part throttle and off idle tuned in.

I am unable to see your "current tune".hpt file. I get an error I am not authorized to view it. I have a Camaro 2022 as well but with the Katech Torquer Cam, our specs are very similar and that's good numbers.

Thats weird dont know why it would say that hummmmm yeah the torquer was one i was lookin at as well. Im lookin to see if porting the msd would get me 10 - 15 more ponies. I know if i had E85 id get over 600 whp but its very sparse round my area and i dont want to have to order barrels of it.

when I last dyno'd mine I may 508/446 on 91 and 528/454 on E85 I feel like I am down quite a bit on the tq side based on your numbers so I was curious myself and compare files. I no longer have access to a dyno or 93 gas since the area i am at only have 91. Also i have a LT2 Intake Manifold ported w/ ported stock tb on my build as well. I want to get the MSD sooner or later..

You have an A10 or manual? Mines an A10 and you have to see what gear they dynoed you in. For tuning we tested 5th, 6th, and one glory run in 7th which is the one to one. We saw 18 to 22 rwhp increase between each gear. 7th was scary to fast and therefore dangerous.

I have a manual, If i remember correctly it was in 4th gear since its my 1:1. Holy crap 7th gear pull would be insane to do... I dont think I would do a 5th gear pull in a manual haha. Either way looking at your cam and mines I would assume the torque numbers should be the same. At WOT I am around 12.4-12.7 so I figured that is spot on.

I just got done tuning a built 416ci Camaro SS on the dyno. This one is on E80, fully built motor with a high ram setup and a pretty extreme stall converter for the street. Huge 25x/26x cam and it made 668rwhp.

Anyhow, my point is that we street tuned this car first to what I would consider safe and advised the owner to get it on the dyno before we try to turn it up. Once we got it on the dyno, it actually liked LESS timing than I had in it for what I would consider safe. It also liked to be richer than your typical NA LT1 AFR. It made the most power with 4 degrees less timing than I would have expected and then it picked up a little more power when we richened it up from .88 to .86 lambda. I expect that is due to the ethanol which brings some of its own oxygen to the mix and this setup loved it.

So it really depends on the combo and what it likes. I know your timing seems lower than you would expect, but that doesn't mean you're leaving power on the table. I checked your log and your tune and I think both are solid. Order a 50 gal drum of E90 and start running e50 and you will be amazed at how easily you pick up power on E. You have the room on your fuel system and you would only need minor updates to run E.

I know we have worked together in the past as you kept changing mods. It looks like you got everything buttoned up and got it on the dyno. I'd be happy with your tune and setup. Now find a way to get some E in it. You will thank me.

Hell yeah thanks Jason .... solid tuner if anyone is in need of someone that takes their time and gets results!! I am goin to have tony mamo port my intake as well just for a winter project. Besides that ita running really good most in part to you. When i got on the dyno i was shocked to see mine too liked 4 degrees less timing but car likes it gained 12 rwhp take the timing down. Theres a local station that is suppose to be putting in E85 which would be awesome but i think ill order a barrel and have it just for the fun. Thanks man
