4l80e tire and gear wizard is waaay off.. 49? and 5.38

Hey for some reason the gear and tire wizard won?t properly factor in my speedo.. im sure my shift points are wrong now too? I?m using the rear VSS speedo in the 4l80e with a 40 count tone ring, I?ll be doing 30kph and the scanner will be reading 55kph? do I have to adjust other numbers under the speedo tap? Thought it was meant to do it all for you.. 4l80e 49? tires with 5.38 gearing?

Some os ive noticed the gear/tire wizard does not function as advertised. I usually change the tire size until the speedo is correct.

2214 Trans Rev/Mile.

Give that at try and see if it helps.

Also measure your tires

I tried putting in those values and the editor comes up with a warning that it’s out of the set parameters… mine also says kms.. so if I convert it to kms it’s like 142547.645 kilometres… and if I try to change the trans revolutions to 2214. It changes my VSS pulses per km… is this normal?

Ah dang. ive never had to convert to KM.
Can you change you Units and put them numbers in, then change units back to KM?

doesn't that mess up the shift points and make shifting funky?

Shifting is fine. Remember the tire wizard also adjust shift points.
