    Mpvi2 / jtec

I need to make some updates to my tune in my Dakota, it has a JTEC computer. Is MPVI2 still good to use with JTEC? I don't want brick my computer because HP turned off MPVI2, when MPVI3 came online.

My MPVI2 plugs into the OBD port, but I do have be on wifi for it to work. So I don't think it is a MPVI+

All of them require the computer to be connected to the internet to write a tune to the vehicle. It syncs up with HP tuners server to "authenticate" the mpvi, car vin, tune vin, and credits match what their records say you paid for.
