Take the TCM out of the car and ship it to HP Tuners for the T87A unlock service. Reinstall it after you get it back from HPT. Then hire someone who knows how to tune it properly. A bad tune will be an expensive lesson.Originally Posted by TurboWorld

yup that can be cleaned up with a trans tune. The A8's have really invasive torque management on the 4-5 shift and it gets worse with mods.
Needs trans tune as mentioned above. All the A8's I have tuned make the 4-5 similar to the 3-4.
