    Help! 4l60e TCC slip

I do not understand what TCC slip should be on this setup so I'm looking for input on this issue. The trans oil seems to get warm pretty quickly.

    2003 Tahoe, 32" tall tires. 3.73 gears (I think)

Transmission is a 4l60e, fresh rebuild, trailblazer 4.2l torque converter, Beast sun shell, Corvette servo, Sonnax pressure regulator, Transgo shift kit, 30000 GVW external trans cooler.

The Engine is a 5.3 lm7, TSP Low Lift Stage 2
Camshaft: 212/218, .550"/.550", 112 LSA. Cylinders bored to 5.7 3.898 specs, flat top pistons. TBSS intake. Stock manifolds.

There's a small leak in the top (hot?) cooler line. ( I will correct this ASAP). Other than it getting too warm to my liking, the transmissions seems to run fine. This is the 2nd time I install this transmission and I don't mind the work but I don't want to toast all of the internals again.

Test run after transmission rebuild 11-26 tcc slip 1.hpl

When the converter clutch is unlocked you will see the large amount of reported slip. Slip while converter was locked looked fine. You can set duty cycle max to 99% and duty cycle min to 50%. If that isnt firm enough to satisfy you try to raise the min to 60-75%. Generally 70-80% duty should deliver complete lockup on this converter.

Everything is working as it should in that log. Converter locks when it is asked too. Max temp reached was only 145F and TCC slip issue normally only start showing up when the sump goes above 160-170F so you might want to take and share another log taken when the transmission is up to operating temperature just to be on the safe side.

After bypassing the OEM radiator and routing trans lines to standalone transcooler I haven't seen the temps get above 170ishf. I also changed the torque converter to a 2800-stall FTI. I've been focusing on other issues now on this Tahoe but haven't noticed any shifting or temp issues. I've been in stop-and-go traffic between 15 to 25 minutes at most but I feel like before, the trans temps were getting too high around the same type of driving.

Lock up holds good, no issue that I can tell and this time it was warmer so if there was a TCC slip issue it would have showed up.

1-2 shift does not happen at WOT (Wide Open Throttle) until you let off the gas: Best case: try replacing the TPS.
