Thread: Looking for injector data

    Looking for injector data

I have a set of FoMo V4B1A injectors. Dark blue. I think they are stock 2013 Ford Raptor 42 lbs injectors. Anybody have details on these so I can use, or are they not good for LS6 with small cam, headers, and intake?

If you didnt get info with the injectors when you bought them, then i doubt you find it in here. I had a similar issue the other day with some Ford injectors i needed data for. They were being used on a SC LT1. The general concensus was that no one in GM section had any data for ford injectors. Short of sending them off to be flowed and tested, then youre gonna have a hard time finding what you need.

Post your tune I'll update the file with the info.

Confirm the part number. 2013 Raptor uses 47lb/h P/N M-9593-LU47. V4B1A is also coming up as 24lb/hr injector used in the Navigator. Are there any more numbers on the injectors?

Here are pics of injectors. I think they are 42# at 64psi?

    Yep that's what I'm seeing. It's more like 43.2lb @ 64psi. Post the tune I'll update it.

Ok, but I still use Ver 2.22 with serial adaptor:Red01Z06-New.hpt

    MAP (kPa) 0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65 70 75 80
    Injector Flow (lb/hr) 41.12590003 41.38220911 41.63694044 41.89012278 42.14178407 42.39195139 42.64065103 42.88790853 43.13374869 43.37819561 43.6212727 43.86300275 44.10340789 44.34250969 44.58032911 44.81688657 45.05220194

I think these are/should/maybe be my Flow Rate vs KPA

you'd be a lot better off buying something with good data. Are you even sure the spray pattern on these is proper? Using a LSA injector in a NA application and having stumbles/misfires is a good example of why you need to be careful about this.

I can convert ford data if you can find it to GM data. Search Ford injector data to see what the format would look like

If you don't update short pulse adder and offset you are going to have tuning issues.

I'm having more trouble than I thought with this. The data in the Ford tunes makes no sense because the Hi and Lo slopes are reversed. Can't find a manufacturer datasheet, either. I'll work on it some more later tonight.

So are these Amazon or Ebay injectors?

  12. #12
Neither, I own a 2013 Raptor also. It has the Hennesy Velociraptor 600 package on it and these were my stock ones. I want to install a Fast 102 intake in my 01 Z06. I currently use fat body 36# SVO injectors in the LS6 intake. They will not fit in the Fast. Before anyone goes nuts and says the 102 is not needed, it looks cool and later, when I do put a supercharger on, I will be ready.

I'm almost finished with it. Had a lot going on last night. All I have to do is the SPA and it'll be ready.

Alright here's what I came up with. Data is in the attached. Don't forget Fuel>Transient>Min Fuel Milligrams.

Let me know how it goes.
