2021 Silverado E93 ecm DOD deactivation

hey guys deactivating the DOD in a 2021 Silverado with a 5.3 and E93 ecm for a friend, he has already installed the normal lifters and everything else associated with the physical dod delete like sending the ecu out to hptuners to modify, he just needs me to deactivate in the tune

i have an mpvi2 on 4.10.5 vcm suite, do i need to update for this e93 ecm or can i tune it as is?

You'll likely have to update to the newest software.
