New HP user, question about Tune Repository
I am new to this and have been watching a lot of YouTube videos... My question is how do I go about looking up tune files that are known good? I have been looking through the tune repository and it's all stock tunes. I would like to have a file to compare to my stock tune so I can observe the changes made and research why those changes were made.
I have heard something about EPA preventing modified tunes in the repository. If that is the case then is the only way to learn this is by uploading a log and tuning file for some more experienced user to review and modify? I am not trying to waste anyone's time with something simple like headers and a cat delete.

Tuner in Training
I'm new too mate, and I found a few people posting up their modded tunes. I downloaded a few just so I could cruise through them looking at the different types of parameters and such.
Whether they are good or not is irrelevant. They still give you an idea of what can be adjusted - which is plenty

LS3 Tunes ?
New to the Forum fellas and need help with the LS3 crate tune.
It's stock LS3 430 with long tubes and cold air intake, and 4L70
Got the ecu and harness from PSI, it's installed in 69 Camaro .
They tell me the tune is stock LS3.
The engine runs great but the gas mileage is totally pathetic, around 8-10 mpg
around town, extremely easy driving , should be 15-16
Same thing on the freeway, 12 mpg best at 65mph, should be closer to 20.
I heard there are tunes on HP tuner website that might be okay to look at or use
but I have no idea where to look and what to do.
I have my own HPT with credits for the car however no experience what so ever.
Can someone help me out ?

Unlikely you will just find a tune. The PE if I remember the last few of those I did ran them pretty rich. Like high 10's rich. Part of the cat protection routine if I'm not mistaken. Post your tune.
