    09 corvette light throttle surge

Battling a light throttle surge on a friends 09 vette all stock minus kooks long tubes and 225/236-114 cam. Car drives great minus a small surge at light throttle. I have been reading on other threads about tightening up the o2 proportional and pulling some timing in light load areas. I have done that but nothing seems to cure it. Any thoughts?

There's a lot of odd shit going on in that tune file. Idle spark control is really wonky. You have -10/+10 in your zero RPM cells. Why? They're both super aggressive.

BRAF is really weird as well.

The data log looks like you still have spark smoothing enabled but the tune file says it isn't. Need to figure out what's causing the spark saw tooth pattern. Solve that and your throttle surge will go away.

It's in "MAF only". Might want to dial in the VVE and try running it in speed density.

This is the file thats in the car currently. I have only tried to use the o2 proportional and take timing out of it. Sorry I should have specified

I'd start by pulling a stock tune file from the tune repository that best matches your vehicle and start putting some of that stuff back to stock.

I haven't looked at the tune or log. But if and when you're ready to tackle the O2 PI circuit, I made a complete guide here.
