ME9.7 Protocol - Component Protection = GM Protocol - Power Enrichment?

As the title states, is that a good assumption?

Component protection sounds more like Cat Over Temp to me (not Power Enrichment). Just my 2 cents.

I have a different ecu, but for me component protection is what I use. I have a base, or target map, and a 2nd fuel map. It apparently switches to 2nd based on exhaust temps, so I make target more or less oem, and 2nd richer. I also have a power enrichment map but doesnt work right so I dont use it. If thats of any help.
