Audi ZF 8HP55 Immoblizer Delete for Swap

    Hello!

I created a ticket already but wondering if anyone has any information on if it's even possible to disable component protection and the WFS5 immobilizer on the Audi AL551 8HP55A transmissions via Hptuners? I attempted to disassemble a PCMflash bench dump with Ghidra but it's not going so well and I have no idea if the files I am working with contain the ASW... all I've found is the can message IDs listed in one section of memory.

I assume HP tuners uses UDS similar to this project so I assume it should be possible to delete immobilizer from ASW: https://github.com/bri3d/VW_Flash

Plan is to use the Audi Kmatrix (CAN DBC File) to write a canbus bridge program on a Teensy 4.1 to act as the middleman between an aftermarket ECU and the TCU. Problem is the immobilizer as I will not have the BCM or various modules connected on the network but rather send messages to keep the TCU happy.

    Any insight is appreciated!!

HP tuners replied to my ticket:
"Thank you for contacting HPT Support.

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a list or timeline of future support"

it can be done with ODIS but they have an new approval process

there are some 3rd party solutions as well but I cant confirm their validity
