Can you program a replacement transmission controller with HP tuners? 2010 f250 6.4L

I have a 2010 6.4L powerstroke f250 and need to put a replacement transmission controller and program/mate it to this f250. Is this possible with hp tuners software? Im assuming i need to write the vin to the new controller and flash it with the transmission tune. Anybody tried this before or have any advice?

no, you con only load a flash part with HPT

The 08-10 TCM do not get vin written into them, the HP license sees the part numbers on both controllers and I believe the license is attached to the ECM per the vin and part number.

If you get the same part number TCM it might work, I would just verify exact numbers on the sticker and try to write your tune to it.
