8 speed torque management "quick shift" - what is it exactly?

Does anyone know what qualifies as a "quick shift"? I see it as a parameter for which torque management can be turned off and on.

Gotcha, do you know what vehicle uses it or if any use it? I was tuning a friends Sierra 6.2/ 8 speed and saw that and wondered what it does.

Its a shift that requires positive engine torque that would cause axle torque greater than the vehicle acceleration limits. Used for TUTD, some shifts in DFCO, etc.
