Increase 6.4 MPG

I am trying to increase my mpg in my 6.4. I have H&S and have done some other modifications. I run the provided HD300 tune but don't see much improvement on which setting or tune it's set on. I did get about a mile or so on switching the transmission to 4th and 5th gear TC lock and setting the shift points lower. I have been looking into custom tunes but don't really know where to start or go. The goal is MPG. I have also noticed the intake manifold looks sludgy. Was thinking an upgrade or cleaning might be a good start? Any recommendations?

Intake sludgy is oil vapor from blow by. It mucks up the cooler piping. You need to run it hard here and there to clear it out. Consider adding on a oil catch can between you oil filler tank and intake boot. Also that much sludge, you might change out you MAP sensor or at least log it and see if it is responding correctly.

Also look for a leaking oil seal or turbo end play.
