Ecu tuning for 5.7 to 6.4 swap

Just swapped a 6.4 into a 2014 chrysler 300 5.7 with electric steering and ACC. Abs module is throwing a configuration mismatch code and as a result abs light and trac control light are on. I read an article here that the problem has to do with the 6.4 pcm but not much details on what exactly needs to be changed i know the 11-14 srt8 cars all had hydraulic ps and part numbers for 6.4 vs 5.7/3.6 abs modules are different.
I have tried initializing abs and also a config restoration via witech but it keeps failing. Ran alfaobd and the process fails when static ecu initializing is started with the error been ?test code not received? .

Anyone know what parameters need to be changed in the pcm tune file to avoid the config mismatch?

We dealt with this so many times...3.6 to 5.7 swaps have the same problem.

What I’ve heard is, that the ABS module can not change the code to fit to another PCM.
Only new modules can be programmed one time.

Why don’t you use the 5.7 PCM ?

correct - ABS will store PCM type and no force can change it. This will change with new module as noted as long you can make the initialization happen.

What are your setting under General-Engine-Size?

Displacement must be what the original engine was.

i have not changed the displacement yet, i read one article here that someone mentioned changing the displacement back to 5.7 and the problem being resolved but before i do that i wanted to get other peoples intake.

mainly because i just used the 6.4 pcm in the car, the tables are all different when i compared them with 5.7 tune and so was OS.
i did another swap for someone else where i did keep the original pcm in the car and never had any issues with abs

interesting from the part#s ive referenced 3.6 and 5.7 abs modules are supposed to be interchangeable (part#68195728AA ). ive only seen different part# for 6.4 (68210120AB )

There are lots of tables to be set and some of them must be interpolate…but it’s better than watching pay tv.

Compare the settings and copy them, it’s the smartest way.

What about the Short Runner ? Did you wire it ?

Part no is the same and that is not the real issue, what gets programmed at factory is. It seems that ABS has a tag in code somewhere that displays engine
type and this is not something any tool can change. Might be a flag in eerom, probably once written can no longer be changed hence you need a new module

Different story with Ford where you can change everything in as-build data.Dodge not so much.

You wouldn't be the first to go thru this. Don't over think it, change to 5.7 and see.

Like Coanan said change the displacement and code will go away.

Question on the displacement setting. Does the displacement not need to be set according to the engine displacement? I replaced my 5.7 with a 6.4 engine and I changed my displacement according to that my assumption is that it needed to be changed to have the tables set up to that size engine, or the correct base tables to match the 6.4? Or am I completely wrong thinking this? If I am incorrect then what's the purpose of these settings?

I correct all the base tables, the values in the rows will not change by engine displacement.
But I try to figure out, if it s possible to change engine displacement in the stock pcm and reinitialize the ABS via AlfaOBD. The reason for this is to activate the SRV switch, which seems that is not working by HpTuners equipped switch, but can be triggered via AlfaOBD test.

    Little update...

If I disabled the SRV Equipped switch in HPTuners, the SRV test in AlfaOBD will not be functionally.
