    Tsp small cam?

So I asked TSP for a cam card of the cam I bought for a Gen 4 so I could use the EOIT excel tool to dial in the engines injector timing.

"Cam Card and info on a TSP223226R6111
Hi I bought a TSP223226R6111 and I have lost my cam card. Need the 0.006 and the 0.050 for it."

    There response.

"The only specs we provide are on the web link here
    https://www.texas-speed.com/p-8587-t...-camshaft.aspx

    223/226 .600/.600 111lsa

The cam is so small there is really no need to eoit editing.

I guess they are now listening to their "tuner" who sends out botched tunes.

Is that the CumBucket Stage 4 or the CumBucket Stage 4 v2.0? I hate all those companies so much.

See, if they told you the specs, then you'd be able to copy it and sell it for less on Amazon and put them out of business. You are not allowed to know such things.

It had a cam card in the box but I lost it when I was doing the build.
Funny a 600 lift 111 LSA is "so small" it doesn't need no toonin'.

Summit doesn't carry that "brand", otherwise I'd say email them. They've helped me on specs ever since Comp got rolled up by private equity and got rid of everybody there who used to know about things. All these companies are moving to a "we just sell parts, man, it's all on the website" model of tech support, when they bother to reply at all.

The cam card that came with mine was @ .050. I had to call to get the specs @ .006.

HAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA! Yes they are worried some other company is going to reverse engineer the amazing TSP cam line up HAHAHAHAHA!

If you plug in the known specs here: https://mgispeedware.com/camshaft-calculator/
It will calc (estimate) the .050" cam events. The only real piece if info you need is the ground in advance (LSA - ICL = Advance). I assume it is probably about 3* (which would be listed as 113+3 by a normal cam company), but maybe up to 5*. You can plug all the info and experiment to get a range of reasonable .050" values. Once you have the .050 values, add 23-27* to each number to approximate the ramp rate from .006 to .050 and you now have a really solid starting point for EOIT.

A standard approach will give you standard results.

    VVE Assistant [update for v1.5]
    MAF Assistant
