2007 yukon 4L60 to 4L80 swap

4L60 to 4L80 swap Does it take sending off my tcm to have the segment swap completed or is that something that can be done thru HPtuners. Am I looking for the TCM OS or the EMC OS to match? Cant seem to find one that matches. Seems to be alot easier with the GMT 800 trucks. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe it works for you Remember that this is a base file, maybe the trans doesn't do the shifts correctly as well as maybe it works well for you, just try and go

^^^ I don't know what that TCM OS is from, but it's an implausibly low ID number for a 2007-2008, and it has 4L60E gear ratios in it. Maybe the trans doesn't do the shifts correctly because that is not a 4L80E file.

You just have to change the gear ratio and it should work, but I have a file that does work 100% but I'm remembering it, anyway you could send him a file

60E to 80E DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT. EVER. It has never worked doing that for anyone ever before. If it did, segment swaps and different OSes would not be a thing.

You should know all that what with claiming to be a professional tuner with a business and everything, but somehow don't, and somehow keep thinking it's OK to keep offering advice like this.

You need to POST THIS FILE from YOUR TRUCK that you have this SPECIFIC QUESTION about. Only once you've done that, I can look to see if I have something that will (actually) work.

It's exactly what I said to change the operating system, I even gave it a different operating system, but I seem to have the wrong file

I have a 2012 E38, OS 12653249 and TCM OS 24243356. (5.3 with 4L80E). I used the 4L60 trans plug and moved the wires around in the plug to work with the 4L80. Let me know if you want the info. That way, you don't need a conversion plug harness. I think that I added the ISS plug pigtail to my setup.
Under the Trans section, there is only a selection for Auto or Manual. Then you have to add the gears and the other info.
