    Cammed Charger just wants to go.

    Hello everyone, I'm 3 tuners and countless revisions deep into this cam and i'm at my limit. i've spent the last year and over thousands of dollars diagnosing a ghost. I know the issue is the tune because with every revision it's changed to something else.


    I am trying to add my logs but it will not attach them. I've attached the tune i'm currently using.

    The current issue, if I let off the gas around 30 or so the car will not decelerate normally. it holds speed for upwards of a mile.

    Idling in gear you absolutely cannot have a drink in the car unless you wanna wear it. the entire car rattles.

    Coming to a stop the car begins to chop extremely harsh.

    if i'm driving in slow traffic and I'm at the edge of 3rd(i think) gear if i don't give the car enough throttle itll surge 300+ RPMS then shift into the next gear. "Fine.. i'll do it myself.."

    Otherwise the car drives perfectly fine and has substantial power. i havent given it a WOT pull yet because it's old and i dont wanna walk home but other than the issues above it's the best tune i've got.


    2011 Dodge Charger R/T AWD
    Comp Cams HRT Stage 2 cam
    BBK Throttlebody(think it's the 89 MM or a stock size)
    6.4 Intake mani with SRV activated using MMX controller(stock SRT RPM)
    K&N Typhoon series CAI
    FTI 3200 ESRT TCC
    ARH 1 7/8 LTs into High Flow Cats
    3 ID Exhaust
    20 inch wheels
    MSD coil packs(originally installed 5 years ago)
    factory spec spark plugs and fuel injectors
    SRT primary fuel pump(no reason except it was $90 cheaper than my original)

    I drive the car in AWD mode only(sport for RWD model) 93 Oct R8 New Read WITH TCM Adjustment.hpt

    We got a 5.7 with cam plus vct delete recently with exactly the same issue - it would run itself after a light throttle.

    After 2-3 revisions I was able to rectify the problem.

    OP, do you happen to have your original unmodified tune file? Also, any data logs?

    93 Oct R9.hpt Try this out and give it a shot , Do a Throttle Body Relearn after you flash the tune.

    3.11.24 auto coast.hpl


    Here is my most recent log(yesterday) it's been chaotic so i havent had time to do much. you'll notice it coasts in the first few seconds, and again near the end. it looks like the PCM has advanced timing quite alot. this log has ALOT of channels sorry ahead of time. the car has begun to fight stopping even more. thankfully the TCM has a setup where if i slam on the brakes and it slows down faster than it likes it'll double downshift into 3rd and buy me some time to calm the car down.

    Update, so I am just now learning there's something in the tune that is stopping my emissions system from going ready status. Catalyst, oxygen sensor and egr won't hit ready status and they've been that way through multiple revisions. It won't let me post a pic but I also have permanent DTCs 0058, 158,300

    Not an expert but. Almost all DTCs related to sensor 2 bank 2 are ses/mil off under engine diag (p0058/p0158). Seems odd to me. As for p0300, I'd assume you need to raise the misfire detection. Currently set to 352 rpm. Also noticed Fuel>Oxygen Sensors>ECT Rear is set to enable at 250 degrees.
