    Transient Fueling

Does anyone have a good understanding of these tables?

I'm fighting an issue on multiple single turbo 5.7s that all have the same issue, and I've never had a problem with any blower/NA cars. It seems like once PE kicks in theres a brief moment where AFRs spike lean to 18.0 and then correct back down to my target AFRs throughout the rest of the pull with no other issues. It almost sounds like a 2 step for a second before taking off. Already tried everything in VE tables, PE tables, and PE enrichment rate with no success.

    Tune file:Javier_91_rev9.hpt
    Log:javier rev7 boost change.hpl

Tune file is updated from that log a little bit to clean up some of the WOT fueling but its still doing the same thing on all tunes. You'll see it right at 6min in the log as it switches from closed to open loop. AFRs jump to 18 for a second. Experiencing the same thing on every car running the same turbo set up, never had an issue with blowers/NA cars so im not sure if those transient tables would be able to fix it, I've never messed with them before.

there is no elevated knock there

guessing there is no misfire there either?

maybe the mixture is not really at 18 to 1

It definitely goes lean, car audibly breaks up for a second and then takes off, doesn't matter what rpm you start at either

Here's a log from another car running the same turbo kit with the same exact issue. Once it goes to PE theres that split second lean spike and then its fine

I just dont understand why I haven't seen this issue on any blower cars.
