    07 Yukon XL 5.3 Swap to a 6.2

Looking for some info here. I have an opportunity to get a 2012 6.2 l94 for a good price. I am wondering what all would need to be done to get it to run with the ECM. I currently have a flex fuel 5.3 with a built 4l60e 4x4. ECM is e38 that is currently in the vehicle. Can I use the same ECM with the engine or do I have to replace it? Thanks for any info in advance.

Find an OS number that matches yours and also came with a 6.2 engine. Segment swap the engine and engine diag portions into your PCM.

It will be 12614088 OS on Escalade L92 with different throttle, different VVT actuator and without TCCM option.

You can use the same ECM.

I'll bet your 5.3L didn't have VVT. If it didn't you could wire it like a 07 6.2L which did have VVT or you could simply delete it.
