8L90 TCC safe/easy way to disable? raise "trans temp min"?

I am going to turn off my converter TCC. During a warmup drive, my converter doesn't lockup until about 70*. during which the trans shift smooth as there is no lock/release, lock/release etc.
If I were to raise the TRANS>TORQUE CONVERTER>GENERAL>tcc adapt>trans temp min(default 68*) to say 180*, then it won't lockup until the trans hits 180*. Correct?

    comments appreciated - thanks Bob

I would like to turn off my converter TCC. I also want to be sure that the trans doesn't get too hot.
I would like to eat two dozen fried Twinkies and a half pound of bacon for every meal. I also want to make sure I don't gain any weight or develop a fatal heart condition.

Thanks for your constructive comment. I should have also noted that I would like to win a huge lottery. I have since edited my question.

If you're going to disable TCC lockup, do it in the apply/release tab. set apply to 318 and release to 317. But i do not advise it in all gears. I would keep TCC lockup in 7th & 8th at a minimum. Personally, I would keep it in 5th & 6th as well. Why are you wanting to disable it in all gears if i may ask?

My daily drive to work typically is 45-55 mph up and down hills. Trans goes into 7, & 8th at times and many tcc lock & unlocks. I just tuned out the TCC, in the apply/release tab, and coming to work this am was smooth without the lock/unlock, lock/unlock etc. I will retune and allow tcc to lock in 7 & 8th and see how that feels.

You'll burn the tranny up with no lockup at all. If you really don't want it to downshift as bad, then increase your map torque model from about 900 rpms and up in very small increments (5 to 10) until you achieve what you are personally after. Just keep in mind you'll have to apply more throttle to get it to downshift going forward and it may spark knock worse or be more prone to.

This applies to all overdrive transmissions, when you are in overdriven ratios (7 or 8 in this case) if the converter clutch does not apply, the converter will generate a ton of heat an you will end up hurting your transmission.
