Hello, I am getting Knock Retard only at lower rpm and throttle position under load. so between 2800-4000rpm at like 40-50% throttle. I see between 3-7 degrees being pulled. I have a fairly heavy station wagon with a 4l80e and LS6. I am currently running the stock LS6 timing table. it is only in 4th gear, I don't get any knock if I give it enough throttle to downshift to 3rd.also, its only on the first hit probably until the torque converter unlocks? I tried lowering the downshift 4-3 throttle position but im not sure how far to go? I have 3.55 gears so 2800 is about 75mph, so its right in highway passing lane range which is annoying?
Anyone have any ideas? I have only been tuning for about a month since getting the swap done. So any advice even the obvious would be appreciated.
